Japanese Straightening or Thermal Reconditioning
A permanent chemical process that makes curly, wavy hair straight. Introduced by the Japanese in the 80s, it restructures the hair and permanently lays the cuticle down for a silky straight look. The average service takes anywhere between 4-6 hours. It can be done on ALL textures of hair. The average client receives retouches every 6 months. Color and Highlighting are possible but only with extensive instructions and adherence to a treatment plan.
Straight Variation
This technique is like the little sister to Japanese Straightening. It drastically loosens your curls/waves and reduces frizz by up to 75%. The difference between this service and Japanese Straightening is that the processing time is shorter and there is little to no use of heat. This will leave your hair more manageable, leaving more volume and styling much easier!

Made with their key ingredient, Juvexin, this is a 100% Formaldehyde-Free (nor derivatives of) system that restores hair from the inside out. "Juvexin is non-hydrolyzed, contains intact keratin, and consists of both large and small molecules. The smaller Juvexin molecules penetrate the cortex, improving and restoring hair from the inside out, while the larger molecules wrap around the cuticle layer of the hair, creating a protective shield against free radicals such as UV Rays and pollution."

The GKhair Hair Taming System with Juvexin is beneficial to all hair types. This is a temporary system that breaks down in about 2-3 months. Using Sulfate-free products increases it's durability.
* The above services are labor intense and detail-oriented. I do not double book during these services so that I can make sure you have the best results. The process for the above services can take anywhere from 3-6 hours, depending on length, thickness and presence of other chemicals. Because a large amount of time is scheduled to perform these services, a deposit of $100 is mandatory to hold the time. The deposit will be deducted from your balance at the day of your appointment. If your appointment needs to rescheduled or cancelled, please give me a 72 hr window prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows me the ability to fill that time. Any appointments rescheduled/cancelled after the 72 hr window, forfeits their deposit and the entire process has to be repeated. *
